Cleaned, descaled, and tested working. The built-in grinder runs. Plus nearly $200 in premium barista upgrades most owners never bother to add, all included. Yours today for $395.
Here's the straight story. This machine has been a dependable part of my mornings for a number of years, and it still pulls a really good shot of espresso.
It has everything that's made the Barista Express such a popular pick for home baristas: a built-in conical burr grinder, 15 bars of pressure, and a steam wand for milk drinks. It's solid and well-built.
It's been cleaned, descaled, and tested. The grinder works, the pump works, the steam wand works. Everything works the way it should.
I recently upgraded to a new setup, so this machine that's served me well for years is looking for a new home. I'd rather pass it on to someone who'll put it to use every morning than let it sit in a box.
Almost every used Barista Express you'll find online is just the bare machine. This one isn't. Over time I added the exact upgrades serious home baristas swap in first. They're all here, included free, on top of the machine:
| Item | Retail |
|---|---|
| Breville Barista Express BES870 (Black Sesame)Complete with original box & full manual | $699.95 |
| Bottomless portafilter, walnut handle | ~$90est |
| IMS Precision competition basket (H28) | $23.92 |
| CREMA stainless dosing funnel | $22.00 |
| Upgraded hand tamper | ~$28est |
| Coffee distributor / leveler | ~$30est |
| Total Retail Value | ~$893.87 |
And because I kept every piece, you also get all the original Breville accessories that come with the machine:
A brand-new Barista Express is $699.95, and that's before you add a dollar of upgrades. The premium extras already on this machine would run you another ~$190 on top.
Even Breville's own factory-remanufactured Barista Express sells for $468.95, bare, with none of these extras. A plain used one typically runs around $400.

This is a local Nashville pickup, and that's on purpose. Come see it in person. I'll plug it in and pull a shot right in front of you so you know the grinder, the pump, and the steam wand all work before you hand over a single dollar.
What you see is exactly what you get. No shipping damage, no blurry-listing surprises, no guessing. You watch it make espresso, then you decide.
There's one machine and one buyer. It's first come, first served. If you want it, send me a quick email and let's set up a time for you to pick it up here in Nashville.
P.S. Remember what you're really comparing this to. A new one is $699.95, plus another $190 or more for the upgrades already sitting on this machine. Even Breville's factory-refurbished is $468.95 and comes bare. At $395, complete and working with every extra included, this is the most espresso machine you'll get for the money in Nashville right now.
P.P.S. Not sure yet? Come look at it and watch it pull a shot. If it's not for you, no harm done. But I don't think you'll walk away. Email me before someone else does.
